For those who missed it the first time, Steve was also trying to have his own style on the day...
It was a bad day for fashion, note the luminous jacket without racing overalls!
-
Should have said that some people couldn't think what side of the road to drive on after they'ld been in karts....
just driving the racing line

Great day, can't wait until the next one - lets hope LOC can even the score - everyone get practising!
Preview of the LOC & TOC remake of Fast & The Furious (better capture coming tomorrow + more footage).
Captions anyone??

MIC stand for Micellaneous Mark
Why is not called MIS then?
Miscellaneous is spelt like this
Am I missing something?
Actually normal abreviations would be "msc" or "misc"

On the same subject (prices I paid for my new amp and speakers):
Hifonics ZX6400 - $210.00
Focal Utopia 165W - $400.00
Focal Audioum 6W - $150.00
Shipping - $150.00
Total - $910 (£546.62)
In the UK (europe)
Hifonics ZX6400 - €499 (£350)
Focal Utopia 165W - £550.00
Focal Audiom 6W - £150.00
Total - £1050
Again almost twice as expensive in the UK!

Just been looking at some subwoofers and wondered why we get ripped off so much in the UK:
In the UK:
Kicker S12L7-4 sub - £299.99
In the US:
2 x Kicker S12L7-4 subs - $359.99, $100.00 deliver, import duty (say $100?) = $559.99 = £336.30
We are paying almost twice as much in the UK for the same product.
:tsktsk:

The Max Power Astra just gets better and better looking!

if you have an old IS like mine then don't bother with the wiring harness - it is for the new style wiring of the IS and will not fit the old car.
Does that mean the harness will fit newer cars and I can just replace the head unit without having to rewire and put a new amp in??
If so, and you have a harness up for grabs, I'll take it off your hands
should fit straight in with a bit of luck. pm your address and i'll post it to you or something

Try putting it on the other way round. The right way round is the wrong way for the IS200 - put the steeply raked end on the Battery side of the car.

Some nice work there, its the sort of car that you love to see during track days!

If a moderator edits a post / moves it etc. how about putting a note to say why they have moved / changed? I think this happens already by not 100% sure.

Kieren, can you do 0-60 using 1st and 2nd, or do you need to change into 3rd gear?
Looks good!
Have to be in 3rd to do 60 unfortunately, 0-60 would be much quicker if you could do 60 in 2nd.

Count me in if there is still a space, e-mail on its way...

After the frustration with the wiring harness from AutoLeads (doesn't fit my car) I decided to make my own! Pics below - also did some more 0-60 times (second pic). New clutch and new flywheel on Wednesday so hopefully get into the five seconds again (crosses fingers) :zee:
-
I'm interested if you still need people - been twice before and did ok although not great - getting better though!
