  1. Some hire car companies only now except the new style ones
  2. It used to be the case that to film on a public highway from a moving vehicle required council permission but I guess that's no longer the case
  3. My beach hut is in Southbourne and I welcome visitors. Not a good place for a meet as the cliff top parking is a long walk up the zig zag
  4. The beach at Mudeford would be a little tricky in my opinion we would have to jostle parking places etc with normal visitors. IMO I think a pub with a big car park is best. If there was enough interest in a meeting on the beach, I believe Bournemouth do a Sunday afternoon for owners clubs I shall try and find out. Or alternatively you can all come to my beach hut!
  5. Got a Parrot kit in both cars. Be nice to see your wheels, will probably mean I need to get the callipers painted to go with my black wheels, I must get round to collecting them.
  6. I am happy to go back to the place we went last time, right by Paultons Park. Apparently the food was good, but they had a power cut after I had ordered so I never got fed! We had several IS's TigerFish's GS430 and I took the SC. Be great to get some LS owners and RX owners next time. Does anyone want to pick a date?
  7. Did you sell it locally, should I keep an eye out for it?
  8. Sounds like you are using auto sync to put the albums on. On your ITunes (PC) does it still have all 7 albums?
  9. I was there! It was a good place to meet as it was just off the M27, not far from the M3.

    Door Speaker

Does anyone have a Mark L door speaker for an SC430, or are the the same in the LS. Thought I would ask before taking the door card off. Thanks
  11. I have never had a problem in the GS in the snow have been using the snow mode for the past 2 days with no issues other than having to turn it ant the TRC off to get it back n the drive yesterday
  12. I don't have run flats on the SC and the GS has the gas tank where the spare used to be. My SC came with a repair kit and pump. Both cars now have the aerosol puncture repair cans. Apparently it's 128,000 miles on average to get a puncture
  13. I'm about to get the black wheels for my SC back. Can't wait
  14. Dorset appears to have quite a few Lexus driving about.. Welcome to the club
  15. I wish I could offer some useful advice but as Tigerfish says, generally they don't go too wrong and most owners on here have very few faults (just look at the things we post). Flip side is that Tigerfish is giving you great advice and no one is contridicting him. I could have replied about the bulbs but was too slow. Good luck with the last few bits
  16. Hopefully the SC430 will become a classic
  17. I converted my GS and yes the fuel gauge (petrol) is an issue, but it has paid for itself in that I have recently been doing 150 mile a day motorway round trips and at a mileage rate of 48p a mile as payback. New kits auto switch between petrol and gas and I find the led gauge fro my gas, although not accurate for each of the quarters the overal amount of miles is fairly constant.
  18. The guy is away, I am hoping he will be back at work tomorrow. I am away for a few days from Thursday so time is tight. I shall if they are done tomorrow, but I was getting them cheaper as I was in no rush.
