  1. Nice mate - any pics? And any mods on the horizon?
  2. Wooooh! Sounds awesome! Paid just over £900 for a Hartge exhaust on my old 528 and this sounds much better. Have just bought one myself via eBay cos I'll never get round to visiting Mr Prolex in Greenwich. Couple of quick questions Justin - Is the baffle removable once the exhaust is fitted to the car? (Going to get the entire exhaust fitted by local exhaust place) Does removing the baffle give a motorway drone?
  3. Excellent - NOW it makes sense - cheers Mac Now who's going to market this diode, bulb, holder and a few wires as a kit and make a mint? Put me down for one :winky:
  4. Aha - just grabbed some Sony MDR-EX71SLs - cheers! :) Getting a Pioneer DEH-P70BTwith a built in bluetooth handsfree.... ...fitted on Friday with the iPod adapter so tunes all day and night B) Will match a treat once I've got the Prolex blue leds fitted too! (And I have no idea who Max Mustermann is....) ← What's the ipod adapter mate? ← This is the Pioneer adapter... Linky :)

  6. I must be the last person in the world to own one, but got a smashing iPod for my birthday from the missus, and it's great! Only thing is the earphones make my ears ache after an hour or so - any recommendations for better in ear types?
  7. I had an Infinity Basslink... ...in the boot of my BMW 528 - was dead easy to fit, as it can use line or speaker level input and boosted the OEM headunit & speakers a treat You can get them from £190ish
  8. Do four people have to be seriously injured or killed in the same location for a GATSO to go up? Am sure I read that somewhere, but don't know if it's true or not.
  9. Wald do them? Didn't know that :) Would go nicely with the rims I've got on order. Got any pics?
  10. Awww - cheers fellas. Had a great day at my Dad's house - combined 35th birthday and naming day for my daughter (ie non religious excuse for presents and beer :D ) Has far too much to drink and eat with all my family and a few mates - smashing! Will be at JAE next year
  11. I had the same problem - the options are to have you OEM head unit fitted into your boot in addition to your new one up front - or get a bypass module - have just ordered one from Fargo myself.
  12. Would be interested if they could supply an IS300 one - not the answer you were after I'm sure - sorry
  13. Wow! Cheers Legendswraith - my fear has subsided now :D
  14. Car is under a year old, so should be - but don't want to knacker the engine - eek! I'm scared now
  15. Just had this shiny little fella delivered, and really should have read the eBay listing BEFORE buying it! It says... (1) TRD (127kPa) 1.3kg/cm2 Valve opening pressure (2) Raises your boiling point to give you better cooling (3) Also fits on Most late model Toyota and Lexus IS300 GS300 400 430 models. ...raises my (or my radiator's I presume) boiling point? Is that a good thing? eBay description Help!
  16. I want that too! But I can't come to JAE as it's my daughter's naming day, and my 35th birthday party on Sunday - any chance of a full step by step guide please please please?
  17. Whilst very tempting, a vented bonnet probably wouldn't get past the missus without her noticing :D Might be getting a couple of other small embellishments, so would get the grille sprayed at the same time as them :)
  18. As much as I love my carbon fibre effect genuine TRD grille, I think it might look a little out of place on a Platinum Ice car. Used to have quite a bit of carbon fibre on my black BMW 528 Sport, but don't really think it goes so well on a silver car. Hmmm. Should I spray the CF surround (and leave the mesh black) or try a different grille? Have seen a couple of cheaper fibre glass copies on eBay. Opinions please!
  19. looks mighty fine! is there any noticeable difference in ride quality?
  20. Wahey! Cheers Scarface They certainly are the rims for me :) Will of course be back asking what size tyres I'll need very soon
  21. That'd be nice (hint, hint) :D Had a good old hunt on IS300.net and found lots of mentions of Wald rims, but no pics :(
  22. Yep, that's why I fancied them! First discovered the ASA ST2 rims... ...but too cheap... then the OZ Opera... ...too expensive and a not quite right... So the Wald Duchatlets caught my eye - stupid name, but Japanese, not too expensive and simple design... Hopefully I'll avoid that by starting this thread! :)
  23. Sorry to be a thicko Matt, but which one of the top three 18 x 7.5 ones will fit best (will go for the 18 x 7.5 rears) - couldja check the table on the link below... Please clicky! Thanks loads! B)
