  1. Ok, so I know I really wanted black rims, but have now changed my mind Think I want these babies in 18"... WALD Rim spec & pics Carson Toyota sell 'em on their site, but have a pal in Japan who might be able to get me a good price. But even after trying to understand the IS wheel spec thread, I'm still not too sure of the tech spec don't understand PCDs and stuff - sorry! Which ones would I need for my Sportcross? Should I have 18 x 7.5 front and 18 x 8.5 rears? Or all 18 x 7.5? cheers for help in advance, and apologies for my small brain...
  2. I'm pretty sure you can get a dash repair kit from Halfords, and if that's no good Chipsaway (or one of their competitiors) do plastic repairs :)
  3. I'll send you the demo once I've had a play :)
  4. Awww - cheers Wosket :) This looks like just the job, works on a Mac and they are sending me a demo - nice one fella!
  5. I get 250 miles per tank of Optimax - erk Go for a test drive in a IS300 (if you don't want a manual) - you'll be convinced then
  6. Need to get a software setup sorted for my gallery, that will allow me to create invoices, manage customer details, import/export mailing lists - nothing too complex. Have got Office 2004 on my Mac - is there some sort of plugin/macro that could do all these things? Or are there companies that will write this sort of thing for me? Bearing in mind I'm a lowly sole trader and not a PLC!
  7. That link didn't quite work so here it is again
  8. OOh yeah - the black ones are pretty cool.. ..how much did you pay for yours? And didja get 18"ers?
  9. IMHO I'd never get a tyre repaired, after all it's only these four little circles of rubber between your car and the tarmac - surely worth paying £150ish for peace of mind? Have you tried Mytyres.co.uk?\ Damn cheap!
  10. If you wear gold jewellery, go for it IMHO :) Silver and platinum fella myself
  11. Yum - looks great mate! Did you paint the callipers yourself? (Mine look like rusty lumps of crap, and the car is only 8 months old!) And where did you get the logos from? And have they survived the heat from braking?
  12. I've managed to kill two Apple iBooks in the last year or so, both bought 2nd hand so no warranty. Any ideas if it's possible to erase the hard drives of them so they can go on eBay for spares? Nothing dodgy on them, but passwords for ebay, Paypal etc are saved in the keychain. Other alternative would be to remove the HDs before sale, but would probably fetch more with them in! And having just bought a brand new one this time, need as much cash as I can get for them. One of them powers up but then does nothing, the screen doesn't work at all on the other, so can't try and reformat them the normal way. What do we think boys & girls?
  13. Coors in a bottle rounded off with a couple of Jamesons on ice. Christmas and birthday - Powers 12 Yr old Irish Whiskey :winky: Can't beat the smoothness of Irish Whiskey IMHO - used to love Scottish single malts but have gone soft in my old age!
  14. ...since fitting the Aero grille and other bits and badges (with TRD logo) I've had a few complimentary comments about the car whilst filling up, but had the second "is it a diesel" No TRD doesn't stand for turbo diesel - and with my Typhoon it sure doesn't sound like one! Grrrr. Moan over :)
  15. Aaah - excellent! Thanks for the info Colin. Had read a few US owners on IS300.net actually removed their crash bars to fit bodykits Surely they are there for a reason!
  16. Is it just the US spec Sportcross that has a slightly different body kit then? Do hope so. If this stuff does fit fine, I might be able to set up a GB as I have a contact in Japan :)
  17. These bits looks a bit tasty - if you click on the links on the right hand side it indicates the price and location on the car. http://toyota.jp/dop-gita/elegant.html ...will they fit my 2004 IS300 Sportcross?
  18. Ouch - very glad to see that solid Japanese build kept you both safe. Was on the A2 myself today - there are always plenty of chavmobiles down the Bexleyheath end trying for a race - nightmare :duh:
  19. Thanks for the advice - don't want to have to remove the engine cover (not very pretty underneath!) - I'll confirm he'll definitely refund inc postage ;)
  20. Emailled the seller and he's happy for me to return it if it doesn't fit, as it's just been tested on an IS200, and not an IS300 Sportcross - it's a new line for him so there shouldn't be a shortage of them. eBay listing Thing is I've just fitted my K&N Typhoon and wondered if that's going to cause any problems?
  21. Don't want a different colour lip unfortunately - have you got a pic of your rims Wosket? My car is Platinum Ice, as the pic above - cheers again Scarface :)
