I've managed to kill two Apple iBooks in the last year or so, both bought 2nd hand so no warranty.
Any ideas if it's possible to erase the hard drives of them so they can go on eBay for spares? Nothing dodgy on them, but passwords for ebay, Paypal etc are saved in the keychain.
Other alternative would be to remove the HDs before sale, but would probably fetch more with them in! And having just bought a brand new one this time, need as much cash as I can get for them.
One of them powers up but then does nothing, the screen doesn't work at all on the other, so can't try and reformat them the normal way.
What do we think boys & girls?
