Ive had my car lowered on just springs, and now im looking at adjustable coilovers, so when i get my 18's (nextweek) i can set the ride height perfect for them.. has anyone got any recommendations on make, and where to get them? cheers

HEh I am just after buying a black Lexus IS200 sport with fulll TTE styling and want to put a set of coilovers in her. Am wondering will IS300 coiloverss go into an IS200. Will weight or anything along those lines make a difference. Chees Murph from Ireland

So need to take my coilovers off and throw the standard shocks back on. Is there much to this? Is it as simple as putting the car up on ramps take off the wheel, undo the 3 nuts holding the coilover on at top, then the coilover should just drop down? How are they secured on at the bottom? I have access to ramp so that should make things easier

Is it possible to replace the springs on aftermarket coilovers. just wondering if replacing the springs on my D2 coilovers would make them more comfortable for the quality Irish roads. Is there much of a difference between TTE and Tein springs? Here's what the springs on them are like: Most of the roads are travel on a daily basis have major roads works on them im afraid the huge potholes etc my do some serious damage to my coilovers

Hello guys n gals, Im back from another huge trip of 5WEEKS lol!!! Dont know how long ive got back at home but hoping its more than enough time to take delivery of my nice new shiney coilovers, which i was informed yesterday that they will be here on the 14th woooo!!! Im not sure if anyone else on here is running with the new Tien Mono Flex, if so dont tell me how bad they are now ive splashed out on them (which could have been spent on appliances for my new house :shutit: ) If no one has them i guess i'll be the guiniue pig to see how they are!! Then after installation up here in the North i'll be driving down to the Dr, for set up, the journey down should give them enough miles to settle slightly??? hey ppl im after a set of coilovers for my altezza 1999 model,lookin anly to drop the car around 30mm as i am running 18" wheels and dont want any rubbing, iv also got a tight budget so keeping the cost to a minimum, any ideas

Hello people Has anybody changed there springs on the tte coilovers for something a bit harder as want to make mine a bit more solid? Can you get uprated springs for them and if so what would you fit and where from? or maybe its time to get some arb's sorted out:whistling: Cheers Chris.... :)

Coilovers fitted but im not happy with the height, i had the car booked in for the arches to be rolled but i just managed to get up the drive at this height. BUMMER. Oh yeah and my ABS/TRC and ARS light are all on but besides that its tight as ***** lol And this is the reason why i cant go any lower, my ****** drive

hi. im new to this modding lark so any advice would be great. first i wana lower my car with 18s on it so whats the best set up.can i get springs or do i need coilovers and whats best, i reckon bout £1000 for lowering. too much maybe??? cheers guys

so many kits on ebay for american is300 coilovers postage be a bit but the overall cheapness of the kit will easily make up for this would a coilover over kit for a american is300 fit on a uk is200 tho ?

Hi folks, a little advice or just your opinion please Due to a friend of mine fitting a SC to his golf VR6 and the fact that now I can't even see his taillights let alone follow them...lol I was thinking of going down the same lines with a SC myself, however today while checking my car to see why I get weird noises while cornering I found that I have a dodgy rear shock. HERE IS MY PROBLEM 1) Do i just replace the rear shocks with OE or pattern parts and go with the SC. or 2) Do i fit coilovers and forget the SC as my pocket money wont stretch to both. Do I really need coilovers on a car with no engine mods? If i SC do i need coilovers? Will Joan tell Ted that the baby isn't his?........... WTF!!! Any comments will be appreciated Thank you Regards

I thinking of getting a set of Coilovers for my car but they do not list the JZS161 Aristo only the GS300, are the suspension indentical? Is there anyone that has fitted Coilovers to there MKII that are not TEIN, dont get me wrong theres nothing wrong with TEIN its just that i cant be arsed to wait 4 months for Delivery. Cheers

got big problem the handling on my car gone totally messed up when going over bumps in the road the whole car shifts to the right its because my passenger rear coilover is broke it makes rattling sound n the top bolt is not lose the sound is coming from inside the coilver near the top so some thing is loose inside and the other day it was ****** out the fluid that seams to be in it my friend said when he was following me that side of the car had no dampening it was all bouncy so i think all the fluid has leaked out can u get them refilled WITHOUT removing from the car ?? wot do i do / were do i take it thanks :)

I was considering buying D2 Coilovers for the Altezza. Anyone any opinions on these? How do they rate against Tein Type Flex. Are they really stiff and would they be ok for daily driving?

Hi, With just over a week to go before my car has them fitted i welcome any feedback about them good or bad. Im having the Flex ones fitted with EDFC on my Aristo for your reference. Any model car IS,GS,LS etc look forward to hearing your thoughts. Cheers chips..
