Hi all, just bought an 07plate is220d. Got the se-l trim level. Cost £3k 96k on clock. Read about all problems people have had put me off a bit from buying. But as soon as sat in it knew I wanted it. Just love the styling and the feel of the car. I don't expect a 10 year old car to be perfect and coming from a corolla the difference is like comparing night and day. I have the clicking centre console, thought was stone chips hitting the car lol. Had the vsc eml light on after hitting standing water but has reset itself. My first ever diesel, had the white smoke appearing intermittently during travel. Taking it for egr clean and terra clean to see if makes any difference. Will let you know how get on with it. Seems to be a love/hate thing  on forums but a Lexus for 3k no brainier for me. I love it.

You made the right choice in buying the se-l model. It's loaded with toys and such a comfortable and luxurious car.

Happy motoring 😀
