Newbie In Need Of Some Help

Hi all i have just bought my first is200 it's a 2000 w reg se and love it i cant beleive how many extra's it has when its 10 years old and even better they all work! but i have a couple of small problems with it already lol dam thought it was too good to be true :(

1. the engine managment light has come on and i have reset the ecu a couple of times and after about 15 miles it comes back on also i have noticed that it now seems to have a flat spot around 4000rpm could this be linked and has anyone ever had the same problem ??

2. the hand brake warning light is on i have checked the fluid and thats ok and ive also checked the brake lights and they work fine any idea's?

any help would be much appreciated Thanks

Hi, welcome to the club ,I have not been on here very long and find you get brilliant information on here ; if I can help with your questions

1 you will need to have the code read ,when you have the number post back on here for further advice it is the only way to find the fault

2 The handbrake light you have checked the right areas ;check the rear bulbs again one may be loose or it may be the high level light

Hi all ive had it checked by the RAC and the fault code is p0135 any idea's thanks

P0135 O2Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank #1 Sensor #1)

Thanks mate is this the lamber sensor ??
