Insurance Surprise

Just renewed my insurance on the 250 and it's the lowest yet I've ever paid at £192 for 12 months fully comp with business miles. Together with the 35mpg this going to be one cheap car.

Wow that's low. The lowest I could get was £800 but I was only in the country for 3 months at the time.

WOOT! Seems like you're loving the GS250 already! Can I ask your age and annual mileage on the GS if you dont mind me asking?

Im 47, doing 10k miles a year, 3k business use, have a tracker fitted, kept in the garage and 15 years NCD! Price was still £466 through Chris Knott who IMO are very good. My wife's 10 year old Merc C220 CDI is £300 and thats got 10 years NCD on it too with 5k miles a year and kept in the garage at night!

Admiral quoted £1300 for me this year. Never had any luck with them to be honest.

Swinton were actually half what everyone else was quoting me.

It's part of a multiple car policy. Both Lexus on it. The RX does come out at £420 so presume more expensive to repair? 40k business miles between both cars. 48 years old, 31 years NCD (I've never claimed).

I've got an Admiral multi car policy too, it has been very good. I have my GS430 Sport and VW Corrado VR6 (both declared modified) for £380 in total, fully comp.

Even better deal than mine, but the RX was always expensive to insure, the ISF was cheaper.
