Sometime Car Wont Recognized Key?

Hi there,

I have a problem that sometime car wont start, like key is not recognized.

When I put key, the security lamp is still flushing (and TRC OFF signal) and after a few seconds I see E (on a climate control screen, but no code of an error). petrol tank level needle work, as the needle for Battery voltage.

This happens once in a month, but when it happens there is no way to start a car. I assume that it is immobilised.
This situation last for a day,or two. After that car is normally starting, recognizes the key.
Does anyone know what could be the problem?

I understand that it could be problem:

- with antenna (not reading the key) - but i don`t understand how can work a couple of weeks, and not working for a day or two, and after that work again normaly
- with ECU (read code does not match the one in computer) - like it forget the original code

- MPX - singnal is mixed up
- something else ???

I did go to mechanic, but it was when the key was recognized. So he said everything is ok.

Is there any way to find what is the problem and what do I have to change (just antenna, immobilizer, ECU or the whole system)?

p.s. I have Lexus IS200 SportCross 2.0
p.s.s. I ordered the original key from Lexus, but the problem arises once a month. So it`s not a key problem.

Thanks

Most obvious cause is the Battery playing up, how long has it been in the fob? Cost to replace is a couple of pounds so maybe worth trying the cheap option 1st.

There have been reported cases of similar symptoms due to local radio wave interference, is the car always parked in the same place when the problem occurs?

It's not problem with Battery. I thought it was a problem with the key so I ordered a new one from Lexus, a few month ago.

It's not problem with radio waves, since the buttons for opening door works even when the car wont start.

It's not problem with cars Battery ...

The problem could be seen in this video:

This happens once in a month, and last day or two.

After that car can be started normally.

Any idea what could be the problem?
