Gs450h Fuel Light Bingo

Guys,

A quick question. I have a 2008 450h facelift and although I never normally I let the fuel guage miles left go to zero this week as just didnt have a chance to get to fuel, I reckon I did 4 miles or so after it said 0 before fueling and I didnt sweat it, but how many miles do you think there are left when the miles left read 0? maybe a gallon left? do any of you have amny experience just so I know for future?

In my 2008 GS 450h, when fuel light went on I had more than 10 liters in tank ; nonetheless is a good rule to fuel soon to preserve fuel pump, even if you can do a lot of miles before empty.

Yes I realise, it was something I dont usually practice, just wondering how "safe" I was. How do you know you had 10 litres?

Because total capacity is 65 litres, and I never succeeded to make more than 58 after a trip of 30 km. to go fuelling in Switzerland (I usually go there because is cheaper lol).
