Connected Services - Trip Name Won't Go To Car

It's pretty minor but it's been doing my head in for a couple of years. Either I'm doing something wrong, or, there's a Lexus bug lurking in the system.

I go to the portal, tap create a trip, enter a trip name, e.g. John Smith, enter the address in to the search box, tap the arrow and up comes the address in the box below, with the little google map to the side. I'm prompted to add the POI to the trip, which I do, and then save the trip. In my list of trips, there's John Smith. I send it to the car, download to the car and terrific, there it is in my memory.

BUT it doesn't show John Smith, it shows the first line of the address. Not normally a big deal as I know who it is, but when I come to revisit that person a year later I don't want to have to remember the address, I'm expecting to see the name, especially as I gave the trip a name as prompted in the first place!

Please tell me I'm doing it wrong, although the guide on the site suggests I'm doing it correctly!

It's hardly the end of the world but it's annoying the hell out of me!

I'm sure you are not doing anything wrong, just a badly implemented system. My system was storing all the trips with the correct name and then suddenly a few months ago they all just turned into the post codes even though on the portal they were still named.

I just wish Lexus would give up and let us have CarPlay and Android Auto.

Thanks Colin, at least I know I'm not going mad. I think we've as much chance of CarPlay/Auto as we have a full EV Lexus.
