Nice1. Dont know why it wasnt found out earlier, pretty obvious to me. But you sure its only for reversing because theres a chime if handbrake is on, door open and a buzzer for lights. All very useful! Maybe find out and add that infk to a new thread

Yes, you will loose your buzzer if you remove your buzzer ;) as its only one buzzer.

If your like me and don't care, go ahead and do the fix, I have had many cars before that dont make sounds when handbrake is on, the lights you can see its on, and if you forgot your key in the ignition, you wont be able to lock your car, so how I see it, I dont really need it.

But for all of you that think this buzzer is crazy annoying, but still want a signal for when you have accidentally thrown it in to reverse, I made a mod to show you:

I soldered on two pins in the holes the buzzer pins were, so now I can connect a buzzer with a wire in between, or a LED as shown here:

LED connected to the pins:

As you can see, it lights up and blink when needed:

Just put the LED wherever you want it, and you have a blinker instead of buzzer for reverse, lights, handbrake etc...

You don't have to solder on pins like I did, you can solder the wire directly, just easier to work with connectors. But if you use LED, remember they need to be connected correctly as they have a positive and a negative pin that have to be right to lit up.

Any other questions to this mod? just shout out ;)
