i have had a look at mine it has a blade missin and it so noisey so im taking it off... does yours run ok on the over temp one? how far up the gauge do the need go before it cuts in? infact mine is generating so much air it blows your hair back when u lift the bonnet LOL besides the massive amount of roar when u rev the engine!!!

any help is much appreciated!!

well new fan and coupling is over 300 quid.. so of it came!!! car now feels so much better.. much much quieter and pickup is better too

temp is fine... i was reading the stock fan takes over 9% of your power and thatit can go as high as 30% when the viscous clutch siezes.. wow live n learn!!

well now ive removed the fan... the electric one cuts in now when the temp gauge is bang on halfway.... so you can remove the viscous power sapping fan and the electric on will come in when needed... how this copes in summer I dont know.... but its fine when im stuck on m1 stood still for 30 mins!!!
