Lexus at Chateau Impney.

Myself and the better half were lucky enough to be invited to Chateau Impney yesterday for a Lexus promotion.As you would expect from Lexus everything was laid on including food and beverages etc.It was a beautiful day which made the most of the beautiful location.Plenty of cars were available to drive at will and all the staff were excellent with no pressure or hard sell from anyone.We decided just to take out the New RX which will eventually take over from are current RX,the LS460 because we had never been in one and the RC300H sport for a bit of fun.

The RX was as expected and very familiar,no real noticeable difference to the present one except a more modern interior which we were used to after having a new NX previously.

The LS was just comfortable and effortless and could cross continents with ease.

The RC300H sport was a big surprise and a very enjoyable drive, the engine suits this car a lot better than the NX obviously because of weight,set up etc but i must say both me and the Mrs really enjoyed this car,just a pity they don't do it as a  convertible  yet.

We could have stayed all day and drove everything including ISF'S once paperwork was sorted in the morning they would just hand you the keys to any car you wanted,except the LFA of course which was there for show.

They also included Archery,clay pigeon and air rifle shooting if you fancied it.It was all organised by Listers Coventry and Cheltenham and they made a great day of it.

I don't seem to get Lexus invites anymore perhaps a yearly purchase of an oil filter and sump washer doesn't qualify me.

Made me wait nearly all day for an ISF drive on the last one even though it was prebooked, nevermind I used to mention events from Lexus ***** on here but not anymore.
