If someone :whistling: was thinking of selling their IS300, (02 Strath Blue, F/R skirts, Sports Mesh Grill, dash tray, filter, dealer serviced, 16,000 miles), in pretty much mint condition.

How much could they expect to get for it A. Private, B. Trade

Oh! Also Hi to everyone on the site, I've been working away and taking up golf. Not been here for a while, the old place has had a lick of paint, looks good. :D

You thinking of selling SUL??

What you got in the pipeline?

Just toying with the idea at the moment mate.

I still love the car, but I am doing a lot more distance since I moved last May and I am not the richest guy in the world. Condidering an oil burner, the new Accord diesel perhaps. I think it might bore me to death though.

Decision, decisions. :unsure::blink::huh:

If i had the money

Have you looked at the guides on the net? (autotrader, parkers glasses etc?)

I would think you would be better going private, as I have rarely know trade to offer as much as selling it yourself.

Parkers valuation below av 10k miles

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Original Price £ 26620

Dealer Retail £ 19370

Private Good £ 18705

Private Poor £ 15865

Trade £ 17035

Too true matey.

Those prices make you feel depressed, don't they. I may just keep it. I love driving it, so why not? I just don't drive it as often as I should. Rob a bank mate and you can treat her right, the car that is!! Hell, even the missus could go for the right price.

 Keep it, and get an oil burner :whistling:

Or have u considered LPG? but that will only cut down and fuel... servicing and everything still the same... or it also invalidate your lexus warranty too

Keep it and get a diesel, mmm, a nice idea :D . Leaving me £18000 worse off though. Doh!

The LPG thing is a really good idea though, next year after the warranty has run out. I'll look into it. Good one. :) That'll mean I can keep her ........ and the car!!

p.s. I can afford to run the car, I'm probably just worrying without reason as I am travelling longer distances now.

The government were giving out grants for LPG conversions.

There is smallprint, i think it has to be on a new car, or within a certain age.

Google search "government grants for LPG conversion"
