My understanding is you cannot put a new plate on an older car or a plate that is later than the cars first reg date. So if it was a 19 plate reg the car must be this years.

My understanding too, although in my experience the purchase of a personal plate is NOT make the vehicle appear younger than it is.

    1. 1. If you were to consider buying a Hybrid model over 5 years old, would you be worried about the reliability of the Hybrid system?

      • Not really as Hybrid systems are always reliable
      • Not if it had a Manufacturers Warranty on the Hybrid system
      • I would not buy a Hybrid model over 5 years old
