Hi fokes, I have a ls430 with the A761e trans. Problem ive got is, I don't know anything about these trans, I'm looking at putting more power in the car but I don't know if the gearbox will take it can anyone advise on what I've got to do? Many thanks connor

Hi Connor and welcome to the LOC.

The Aisin transmissions are pretty robust and can generally handle increased power without a problem. Not sure about the 761 but the earlier A340 could be fitted with a high stall Torque Convertor and a performance Valve Body.

Manual transmission conversion is popular for power upgrades.
