On Sundays we were supposed to pay to get to see motorbikes racing around; on days when we were not in schol or working, we somehow got motorbikes out there and were imagining we were racing drivers and for some strange reason we never had any serious accidents.

I had a NSU Max from sometime around 1960 or whatever in a close to fall apart condition, but did we have fun. Not far from there was a gravel pit, where flint was dug out, and there we also drove around. Unbelievable that it went well.
