is200 power steeering squeak

hi i have a is200 that has a squeak when you turn wheel ,i have since noticed the power steering pump has a slight wobble which is making belt squeak,is there a simple fix to this or should i buy a new pas pump which is loads of bucks or can i shim the pulley from behind.any help would be great.thanks in advance

When you say “wobble” do you mean the complete pump is doing it or just the pulley?

Assuming the pulley nut is tight it sounds like the main bearing has failed, you can get the bearing and rebuild kits but probably better to buy a recon or new pump.

To confirm remove the pulley ( take care not to loose the the locking wedge in the shaft)  then see if the shaft wobbles.
