GS450H windows (from main switch), door locks, fob, mirrors-not working

Recommended Posts

I have tried, but could not find a topic describing the above issues.

Mirrors completely not working, not folding, not moving-nothing-switches do light up.

Fob completely irresponsive.

Central locking-completely dead.

Memory settings-not working.

Windows do work from each switch-driver's working from driver main switch-tried the reset-only got auto function to work, but nothing from the driver switch.

I bought the car with a flat battery-don't know much about the car, but I also do not wish to spend fortune fixing it, so ''take it to a dealer'' is not an option really. I have checked all fuses.

Is there a fusible link somewhere ? What is it that I am possibly missing ,dead ecu? Anyone had this issue ?

Thank you in advance, Mike

Sounds like the 12v Battery is flat or too low a voltage to boot the computers, try connecting a 12v power source (lithium booster pack or a 12v Battery via jump leads, doner car need not be running as its only the 12volts needed to be seen by flat battery) to the auxiliary 12v Battery in the boot the car should then start up.
