Headlight dance on the new NX?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am a bit of a Lexus freak (perhaps that is something good - I don't know) and I would like to know if someone here on the forum has noticed if their Lexus NX 350h/450h+'s headlights do a little dance upon startup (do they go up/down, side-to-side)? I would also like to know which of these two headlight-types you have fitted to your car;

All the best for the new year,

Neo

You must have the tribeam LEDs with bladescan, which can direct the light, allowing full beam to be projected selectively, i.e. you can have full beam on, but the system will automatically blank out an oncoming vehicle to stop the driver being blinded whilst keeping full beam everywhere else. I have it in our RX and it works very well - much better than the simple auto high beam (i.e. on-off high beam) on our 2015NX.

You can read about it here:

Yes - I get the dance performance with my NX450H and have the tribeam LED with bladescan. Very pleased with them and haven't had oncoming traffic flashing in anger even with them technically on "full beam".

Hi again! Would you, providing that you have time, mind filming when you turn the car on and posting the clip here, so we can see the little ‘dance’ ?

Many thanks,

Neo
