LS460 Rushing water noise

Hello again fellow LS owners 

Have a 2007 LS 460. On acceleration I can hear what sounds like water sloshing around in the behind the drivers foot-well. Is this possibly related to the air conditioning or is there a blocked drain of some description?

The LS range have a double floor with a cavity which is filled with sound deadening materials but also hollow areas .There will be rubber bungs in several places underneath the chassis take a couple out front and rear and feel for wetness on the inside .

If you have water in the cavity it must be getting in down the A pillars.

I will assume the coolant level is correct😀

Good point from Phil, I’ve learnt something new there.

Another possible is water collection around the windscreen wiper spindles, there is a drain next to them which tend to get clogged up from leaves etc allowing water to pool around them.

Quick visual check with the bonnet up should confirm.

Just had a quick check, drains near the wiper spindles clear…..coolant however…low!
