MK3 RX450H ML sound system, static noises from all functions

Hey all, I have a 2009 450 SE-L with the Mark Levinson surround system in. A couple of weeks ago on starting the car the stereo started making crakling and static type noises, rather like a badly tuned radio. However it does it on all the functions DAB/CD/Bluetooth when playing anything or when the satnav is speaking.

Unfortunately it seems to be a fualt thats here to stay, but I'm not sure if the issue is the head unit, or something else, as it seems to be doing it everywhere could it be an amp? Not quite sure how to go about fixing it or if my only hope is to take it to Lexus ?

I am not an audio expert, but if it were my car I would be looking for a poor connection at speakers, amp and head unit.

My advice would be to take to a car audio specialist  (NOT a Lexus dealership or local general garage), it may well cost a few quid, but could save you many, many hours scrabbling around chasing shadows.

have reached out to a local car audio specialist to see what they say. Hopefully its something that can be easily rectified. Although it seems in this day and age we are stuck with proprietary systems and mostly replacements of entire units as nobody seems to repair much anymore.
