NX 450h 3 pin charging cable

I have just bought a 2022 NX450h.  I would quite like to pick up a spare 3 pin charging cable.  I wondered if there was any advice on where to find one at a decent price?   Is it safe to put a generic one on?  What are the specifications I need to look for?

Generic one should be fine but people do experience compatibility issues with certain cars/chargers.

Have you priced one from a Lexus dealer? Is it very expensive?

toughleads.co.uk have a lot of good information and options on their site. Depending on your reasons for wanting a spare, you might want to consider purchasing just the short piece from the plug to the CCID. I believe that the long part of the lead from the connector to the CCID is common throughout Europe; the short part allows for different plugs depending on the market, UK ,mainland Europe, etc.

I’ve gone to their site but am not clear what lead you are suggesting, I just need a second lead so I can leave one at home and the other in the boot

An advanced model is also available, which I think adds a timer function. My earlier comment doesn't work for the need you describe.
