Three tyres T005A and one T005

Recommended Posts

I have a UX25h registered 1/10/21.

I just noticed that I have three tyres T005A from 1221 and one T005 from 0720 on the rear offside.

One is a year older than the other three from new!

The tread wear is consistent with its 15K miles. 5mm on both fronts and 6.5mm on both rears.

How did this happen?

Probably a puncture / irreparable tyre- likely replaced by a New T005 tyre

Tread were being consistent generally means it was done quite early on the cars life

Discovered that the T005A is made in japan as lexus OEM and the T005 is made in italy for non OEM.

You can only buy a T005 in Europe.  They are identical.

Apparently, it had a puncture when two  months old.
