Many many years ago in the distant past, when I was a humble worried sales executive ( posh name for salesman ) We used to hang our jackets from a wire coathanger hanging from the plastic thing over the rear passenger door.

You could spot a rep a mile off on the M6 in his cavalier 1.6 turbo diesel with his coat hanging in the back. Some poor sods got Ford escorts. One day I was presented with a horribly gaudy Metallic Gold coloured Ford Granada Ghia. I hated it. I felt like a tart going out to disco Friday night.    ( That sounds bad - I mean i looked like a tart in that horrible car not that i actually felt like finding one - oops.)

As they said "You are only as good as last month's sales figures" 🥴
