What a disappointment the new LexusLink+ App is!! And even more disappointed in Lexus customer care!!.The climate control side was fine and now is poorly designed and glitchy.

Yes I have to agree. Lexus Link + app is very fragile and unreliable. Fortunately the cars themselves ate great otherwise I may have walked from Lexus.

What more do you want the app to do?

It tells you the Battery %, if it is charging and how long to charge

It allows you to remote start the climate to warm up and defrost the car (but not the wing mirrors). 

It tells you your car is parked next door, when it is due a service and a limited description of what work was done. 
 

It tells you how bad your driving is by giving you an EV score for each trip.

If it completed all of these features reliably it would be fine but the fact is it doesn't!

It does so for me though Ken, so perhaps the problem is not with the app but the comms module in the car?? 🤔

It's the inconsistencies that frustrates. Missed journeys, car showing as unlocked when in fact it is locked and vice versa , car being shown as parked miles from where it is actually situated, mileage incorrect and number of days countdown to service incorrect, mileage sometimes shown as km etc etc. Some days its perfect but on others it's not. You just have to look in the NX forum to learn of the issues with the app!

Twenty-one months on and the system is improving but in my opinion its still not robust and worthy of the Lexus brand.

The last app let you pre programme the climate control.....not having to remember 15 miniutes before hand.This was available in the old app!,very slow responding! asks each time you want to use the climate feature even tho I tick the box saying I don't need to see this again.Just all round poor I. My opinion and lexus customer care worse,they respond even slower than the app.

Also forgot to mention,mine does activate the heated mirrors and rear window,as stated just poor!.

App lets me programme climate control. It is possible to programme just 1 event or multiple events. Do you not have the ‘Climate Schedule’ option on yours (as below) which, once selected, takes you to another screen where you can select various climate control elements and input a schedule?

It’s one app many different cars, which is probably part of the problem. What the app can do differs from car type to car type. 
 

I have just noticed the Climate Schedule, but don’t have the Lock/Unlock or Hazard Lights options.

So my Vehicle is a 2019 250h Takumi, All i can do is see my trips, see my Service record...... I can't receive any notifications under Lexus Link +, am i missing something? 🤔

Exactly the same as me, a 2019 250h Takumi, it used to allow to send destinations to the navigation system via the app, this feature has now stopped working since the update.

Very poor by Lexus this.

The only thing you are missing is the frustration in trying to get anything else to work. 🙃

On a similar note, I recognize that the software in the app is poor, but the auto dimming headlights software is pretty complex but it seems to work. So they must have some good software engineers.
