Aston - dashboard, reliability and double oooh seven connotations.

R8 - space.

Maserati - reliability/had one/parts prices.

BMW - don’t be silly.

Corvette - chest not hairy enough, don’t have a moustache. Or a Stetson.

AMG GT - very VERY close but not enough space.

Ferraris - either ugly and turbod or beautiful, old and flakey.

F type - kind of seems from a class below, great noise, not enough space (soft top).

LC - noise, build, looks, reliability, warranty. Minus points - theft risk, quite wide, could be lighter.

Cayman GT4 - I really wanted one, but Porsche wouldn't entertain the idea of actually selling me a new one.

AMG GT - decided it was far too ugly

Roma - by the time I had it specced how I wanted it to be it was near £300k, sod that

F-type - Felt like a step down

McLaren GT - put off by the scary customer service stories and reliability tales

LC - Noise, feel, reliability, dealer experience - loved it, but ended up being a bit too big, (and therefore vulnerable) for my location, glad I had one though.

Was looking at an R8, but

LC500 sound (to me) is up there with the R8 V10 (and more accessible)

LC500 rarity

LC500 loved by most of the public

LC500 reliability and RELAX. R8 fragility scared the hell out of me
