Trickle charge using battery terminals on rc300h

Recommended Posts

Hello Maz, I've successfully trickle charged my RC300H using the terminals in the engine compartment as per page 331 of the online manual (referring to jump starting). Good luck..

Thanks parker87, I’ll turn the car round on the drive and give it a go.

Do you close the bonnet down on the cable? Bit concerned it might damage it.

You should find a gap between the front bonnet seal and headlight that the wires can pass through without being crushed.

I charge mine in the garage so I don't need to close the bonnet completely.

However, as Colin says, I'm sure there'll be a suitable gap somewhere.

All the best.
