Most of what we would really like to know financially is not really available to us anyway. I don't think any serious economist puts much faith in the economic data released in China. They have to try and find ways around it to get at something they can find credible. For example, do you find Chinas economic output credible if you also look at their energy consumption numbers. In other words you try to cross check for validity.

No point trying to rationalise it for us mere mortals ……. China and 1.4billion population will be with us for our lifetimes I’m sure ……… all eating and growing ….. and manufacturing cheap stuff to export to the UK 

Its life and it won’t change much to affect you and me methinks 🤔
