Hi As a new owner I noticed the grille on my 2018 is has large gaps. I have seen some BMW owners on forums put plastic garden mesh behind their grille to protect against stones hitting the ac condensor radiators does any one  do this on their cars here?

Having paid out for an AC condenser for that very reason, I’ve certainly thought about it, but haven’t actually done it yet. I’m pretty sure someone on the 300h forum has done it though. I’d maybe go with a fine aluminium mesh rather than plastic.
