Hi all

Thinking of removing the 3rd cat on my GS300. I had a full Tony Banks exhaust fitted from the the downpipe with a brand new 3rd cat. I went for the mid-sport option however I feel like it's a bit muffled on idle and looses the sound on higher RPMs, so debating on removing the 3rd cat.

What are the opinions on this? Will it change the sound drastically? Couldn't really find many posts of people who did this so asking for opinions.

As far as I am aware it won't throw any errors as the o2 sensor is pre 3rd cat.

Thanks

Correct. The only issue might be MOT issues if the primary cats are hot enough but the tester would probably just run the engine for a bit longer and retest.

MOT shouldn't be a problem. I'm more debating whether it's worth deleting it for better sound. Do you think it will make it louder/deeper or not much difference to what I have now?
