 I've had conflicting views on timing belt replacement at 60k service. One dealer stated it's done on 100k service and other said because my car is 6 years old it should be done now. The other dealer:"NOTTINGHAM" hasn't got back to me yet - surprisingly!!!!

Any Thoughts???? :whistling:

This question has been bought up a lot on this site, so this is a definate answer im giving you no bull****!

Its 100K or 6 years whatever comes first!

And get the belt changed along with the roller and you need a pin that the roller goes onto aswell!

That way you cant go wrong as you have changed the belt and the roller (which is just as important).

I got mine done at 52K as my car was nearing 6 years and the labour was £160 from an independant garage and genuine lexus parts came to £75 which included the cam belt, roller and roller pin!

So get it done mate asap!
