Looks like a good price, What Car quotes £1,573 for a private sale. Only think wrong I can see is the tax due to expire soon

I like the new model but am not familiar with this one

Does it look like a deal worth considering?

i think it has vw running gear so should be reliable ,he said the previous owner had it from new so hopefully a full service history ,be sure to lift them nasty seat covers to see what they are hiding as seats could be worn and that could indicate a higher mileage than shown on the clock.also he sounds like a trader so ask him whos name is on the log book as i bet it is still in the previous owners name

as for Seats, I was looking at seat leon cupra R, I think they're ok but i'm sure someone will be along later to slate them

i have a feeling the seats in this model had a realy bad pattern on them ,if you look at the door cards you will get an idea of what they look like ,probaly very faded as well .

true, wonder if they supply a gimp mask and a whip to go with the interior though?

VW polo based......fairly reliable, they used a lesser engine management system to the VW badged cars.

They're 225bhp standard, around 270bhp chipped. Same engine as the Audi S3
