Hi all,

Well, a small bit has torn from the front of the undertray on my series 2 GS300. It's about 6-7 inches across, and has torn maybe 4 inches down (towards the rear), so it's dangling down a bit.

Every now and again it makes a terrible vibrating/flapping noise at speed. I guess I should get a replacement, so I have a couple of questions:

1. Would it be OK for me to gaffer-tape it back up or cut the "flap" away?

2. If I were to do this, should I really take it to a garage/somewhere with ramps so I don't crush my head?

3. Anyone know how much it costs for a new GS300 Series 2 ('98) undertray?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Taaa,

Russ.

Maybe you can borrow or get some cheap ramps yourself and drive up them to give you enough room to remove the tray, then you can take it off and patch it up with something better than gaffer tape, bolt something on, im not sure how much a new one would be, but I guess it wouldnt be cheap.
