Who Is Off To Goodwood Festival Of Speed ?

well i got some free tickets this year for the festival of speed at goodwood. am going friday. just wondering if anyone else was going down there?

No longer Lex'd up but would be good to see some faces again if we can fix a mini-meet. :D

well i just got back from there today, had a realy good time. ended up getting a hotel near by to save on having to get up so early to drive down and was good.

realy impressive displays too, upset the guy on the massive toyota stand by asking him if there was a lexus stand here at all!

Also had a chat with the guys at Sanspeed about the supercharger work, seems it is all Lexus GB approved as they are trying to shift the 250 units in their factory! also found out some interesting bits too with regards to the manifold etc. they replaced the normal cats with twin sports cats in the manifold. and also found that the biggest restriction to the IS manifold was where the 3 pipes collected into one, after they re-jigged it they gained a smoother power flow.

they have also invited anyone from the LOC to come down to their factory and test drive their Lexus to see if its any better than our set ups.

Aparently lexus initialy gave them an is200 to convert with the charger, and the MD was so upset to give it back that he went and got himself one and had the kit fitted himself!
