I had no problems after taking the pre-cats out apart from one of the O2 sensors was melted on the end and was totally knackered by the time I got it out.

Started up and no errors, don't know about the actual power gains but the car is defo more responsive.

Also what mileage has the done, from all the research I have done it would appear that O2 sensors have a life of about 40-50K. Replacing should help fuel comsumption and I would imagine help emissions.

how much are replacement o2 sensors?

mines about 54k in now... wondering if i should look to change..

Bout £120 for Toyota or £50 for "generic" ones.

Think you will only need 1 as you have a manual, the auto has 2 for some reason.

Yep - about £100 odd quid for the Toyota one - and you do need only one on the manual...
