I need a replacement light assembly for my car and was thinking of going down the breakers.

Whilst in my local lexus stealer I thought I would ask the price for the complete unit (the one that holds the lights, brake lights and indicator).

I held onto the counter to stop me falling over in shock and was even more in shock when he told me £54.00p inc vat.

Now we all know that parts from the USA are a lot cheaper and as a result checked at Park Place even though the American one is no use in UK but is similiar.

The price of the American one was £133.00p,would you believe it.

And yes I doubled checked with the Uk dealer.

£54 is surely a mere bagatelle - if it means you don't have to drive around trying to find a secondhand replacement, not to mention possibly grovelling around to remove it in the first place?
