You'll find that its personal choice when it comes down to tyres. It depends what you want from them e.g, good in the wet, good in the dry, less road noise, hard wearing, different compounds etc. It also depends on your driving stlye aswell.

I would say you probably couldnt find a tyre that has the best of everything, so what you gain in one area, you usually sacrifice another.

I have Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's. Good in the wet and the dry and failry quiet, but apparently not that hard wearing.

I dont think you could go far wrong with the Dunlop SP9000 as an all rounder.
