Removing Centre Console

How do you remove the centre console where the storage compartments gear stick etc is? I have got as far as taking or the gear surround and cig lighter but what about the rest? is there some way to take the rear cup holders out and reveal more screws??

Right fella, you need to open the rear part of the console with the lid that closes, then if you push about at the felt bottom you will find that can be removed easily which will reveal a couple of screws.

Remove those, and then at the front of the console where you have removed the gear surround and fag lighter there are two little screws there holding it to the dash.

Around the outside of the console there are screws towards the passenger and drivers side - these have always been exposed on mine but I believe on some cars they have a rubber grommet in them, so just remove those if necessary?
