Sub Woofer

Hi All,

Just Bought a '98' GS 300, all appears well apart from the sub woofer not working. I took it to a local car hi-fi specialist who would need to investigate further, but feels the speaker is blown. Has anyone had the same problem and what is the best and most economical answer?

My last car was an E60 Beemer 4.4 V8, apart from the power difference it drives just as smooth, for a car with almost 100k it really is very impressive.

Mine went as well, just replaced with an Alpine Sub as this was the closest match for depth, and then removed and placed into a box for increase sound.

For what these motors are and the age of some, they are still a very smooth and comfortable ride, can match most of the high end exec range for ride and comfort.
