Head Unit Again - Sorry ;-)

I've read thru all the posts I can find on this but want to be 100% sure.

I know that to replace the Stereo unit the numbers on the Label on the bottom of units must match - AFAICS there are 2 versions - ( ie 86120-53040 & 86120-53041)?

Visibly the main difference is the position of the Tape & CD units are reversed.

But what about the number on the from LCD display panel (1390n). I've seen several variations of this number but from the pictures there seems no difference - do they have to match - if they do its going to make finding the right unit even more difficult!

There are also other numbers on the bottom label -

i was LED to understand that basically, if you CD slot is at the top, replace it with one with the CD slot at the top and vice versa but i dont think you can replace with a CD at the top if you have a bottom loading player. if thank makes and sense!
