I have recently acquired a Y reg kexus gs300se,its a fantastic drive but i have a couple of questions if anyone can help before i go to a dealer.

My fuel gauge is erratic and often goes up overnight,nice if some kind person was filling it up !!!,also with this the range increases on the trip info...i have no confidence in the gauge,has anyone come across this before,incidentally i ran out of fuel whilst it was showing a quarter full??

second query,if i want to update the sat nav do i have to purchase the latest disc from the main agent ??

Hi and Welcome to the LOC :)

Sounds like it could be a sticky float sensor in the fuel tank or something along that line,sending out a false reading,cant help with the satnav as my cars a mk1.

Good luck with getting it fixed,let us know if they find the problem.

Might be worth throwing a bottle of Redex in the tank, might free float if thats the problem.......
