Hi Tony9r, many thanks for the info, reading and learning as I type lol! The guy I want to buy from is a careful driver and looks after his cars but even with the best care there are still inherent faults one has to keep an eye on.

I have a Merc 190, 18 years old and still passing its MOT's with flying colours. I could buy a fleet of 190's for the price I'm looking to pay for the GS 300 SE lol! but it's time to change.

Hi there,

Although I do have a Gs300 se auto, I am not the person to ask the price

as I was fortunate to have mine bought as a gift.

But like you I have a 22 year old Merc 230e which never lets me down and also

flies through its MOTs, l love my old Merc, but it has to go, I wish I could store it,

mind you I must say the Lexus is magic!

In the service history check to see if the brake/abs/traction control unit has been changed as these seem to be a common fault thats not that cheap
