The look is identical tho.But im still only looking at aesthetics.

really???? never never seen a merc estate with side grills that look like the ones on a m3 as u say the bmw prop have a purpose but the merc ones are non functional

i think the bmw ones arent functional in the slightest.

Its a common thing done by drifters in oz and nz and it does make a difference.

as for decapitation.....erm nope, its exactly the same as being mounted normally.

as for not being allowed at santa pod, well ive seen people run with the bonnet up like that.

BUT

not much needed on this car even in the carribean, unless its running a bit hotter than normal due to tuning stress'

test drove another M3 today,looked under the bonnet and sorry all are wrong,the vents are for cooling.I then asked mr Bmw to show me under the brand new mini that was parked next to it,and these were pieces of black plastic that didnt open into the engine bay and were purely aesthetic.M3 vents were designed to have a purpose.
