Proud New Owner

Hello to everyone for the first time. After many years of bmw's I am now the proud owner of a '94 LS400

I am sure I will have many questions in the future as after only 2 weeks ownership I am sure I will only buy Lexus in the future.

So here is my first question: I sensed something different about the car last weekend, the windscreen seemed as though it had developed shiny bits at the side! on inspection it looks like some freindly person had removed the rubber insert seals!!! I take it these are only available from the dealer? so the reason for the theftmust be their cost?

Any Ideas?

Hi and Welcome to the LOC :)

I think i know the parts your talking of...the sort of side plates that stop rain from coming in from the side window if its down a little when driving well raining..You might be able to get them from a breakers if Lexus want a arm and a leg for them new..Main dealer part id say.

Ive looked on the net,but cant find a close up picture of the LS400 windscreen.

chips..
