Knocking Noise When Stopping.

Im getting this really annoying noise when im coming to a stop. Dont seem to get it any other time, but when im braking to stop (it normally starts when i have got under 5 mph) i get this knocking noise that sounds like its coming from the front suspension. Any ideas anyone? Its a shame because the car is so quiet the rest of the time.

ps its a 1991 LS400, 155k on the clock.

Hi,

Theres so many parts that make up the suspension its hard to say what it could be,it could just be because of all the hot weather and everythings dry at the joints.

When was the car MOTed? if its not so long ago id not worry to much about it as everything would have been checked over very closely.

Was MOTed in january.
