Hi,

anyone got problems with the Lexus CD changers. Had CD stuck in changer 6 for two days. the damn thing wouldn't play, and wouldn't eject. Ejected the whole lot and that one still wouldn't come out.

tried to put the other five in again and it blocked them. finally managed to eject it by pressing both the eject and load button together.

Swapped CDs and still no.6 says nah. anyone experiencing these problems.

Teddy, could be a slightly warped CD ... had a similar problem a couple of months ago and only managed to fix it by unloading the other five CD's and then holding down the eject button until the 'sticky' one finally decided it wanted to see the light of day :)

Haven't used that particular CD since and the problem has not reocurred ...

Teddy - It is a common problem unfortunately, but I found a useful solution searching these forums some months back:

1. Open the bonnet and remove the Fusebox cover.

2. On the back of the cover there is a diagram showing the fusebox layout

3. Look for the 20a Fuse Labelled "Radio No 1"

4. Remove this fuse. Wait about a 30 secs or so and replace.

This should reboot the Whole audio system and thus allow you to eject the cd's easily!

n-joy
