  2. Hey guys, Can anyone recommend a good aftermarket Brake specialist for an IS200SE please?? I have searched through the posts and tried the usual culprits (TDi, HKS etc) but find them extremely expensive!! I am looking for both front and rear vented discs and someone to fit them. Preferably in the South and somewhere I can use my Gold discount!! Any ideas? Thanks in advance chaps and chappesses!
  3. Teddy - It is a common problem unfortunately, but I found a useful solution searching these forums some months back: 1. Open the bonnet and remove the Fusebox cover. 2. On the back of the cover there is a diagram showing the fusebox layout 3. Look for the 20a Fuse Labelled "Radio No 1" 4. Remove this fuse. Wait about a 30 secs or so and replace. This should reboot the Whole audio system and thus allow you to eject the cd's easily! n-joy
  4. Sounds like fun, I'd love to try and make it!!.........First meet wooohooo!!!!
  5. Bass 0 Mid +3 Treb +3 Fad +2 Front I have the older audio setup (CD at the bottom) and think it is the best standard setup I have ever come across! Had to fade slightly to the front to allow the bass to sound a bit more rounded. I play a lot of heavy bass tunes in Reggae and RnB but like it to sound "round"!
  6. This was mentioned in another post somewhere pn the site, but I can't remember by whoim...anyway...the back speakers are actually 2 speakers in one large case. This means there are actually 4 in the back! Added to the 2 in the front doors and 2 tweeters by the wing mirrors, you have 8! :)
  7. oooh not sure about yellow....hmmm maybe it will grow on me....
  8. This information is Absolute GOLD I have searched everywhere to find a breakers around SE London with an IS200 Headunit but after removing the fuse and placing it back in the CD player ejected my "stuck" CDs!!! Absolute Top Draw!!! :D
  9. Aviod Buying in London privately at all costs!!!:!: I live in London and when searching for my IS all I found was high mileage, scratched alloys and interiors that resemble a scrapyard's field-day (biting my tongue now). Eventually bought mine in a village nr Hatfield! I'm new here too, but the forums are great for finding answers... Stuart
  10. I get that cluck with my SE aswell. If I hold the clutch right down and delay the change it doesn't happen though...Are we to assume this is just normality?
  11. Definitely get it sorted out mate. I've never had that problem with mine but i'd certainly take it to the dealer to sort out...
  12. Bought my Lexus in February this year with 34K on the clock It now reads 39K.. I can't stop driving the damn thing!!!:tumble:
  13. I've seen this a few times whilst browsing the posts here but... Does anyone have an idea how to fix or even remove the CD Changer in an IS200 SE? I have the old-style CD Changer with the CD slot at the bottom Thanks :?:
