Rx Parking Sensors

I had quote from local dealer and it came to over £950 including fitting, service manager told me that its 8 hours job. Kit itself is about £450.

Useful staf but i think its too much for what is it..

I have just purchased an 07 rx400 and had rear sensors installed by lexus but i have trouble hearing them

I was told u cant turn them up so was hoping id find a speeer in the boot so i can move it

Any sugestions anyone

We have a Merc CL500 which drives us mad with intermittent sensor beeping and the indicators are intermittent too. Been back a few times with little effect. So glad our 55 RX 400h just has the colour tv reverse screen. No annoying beeps!

I have both front and back sensors, the front ones were fitted by the previous owner, so I don't know what series they are.

Few weeks ago the front ones were playing up (beeping all the time), i turned the switch the other way round and it solved the problem, I thought I have switched off the front sensors but they are still working with the switch turned (this is the bit that still puzzle me until now). This is telling me that I can't turn off the front sensors at all!!

One time the rear sensors were playing up, it was a cold icy morning and I thought it could the layer of ice on the sensors that caused the problem. Wipe off the ice off the sensors and they working perfectly again!
